Yesterday Sarah made a snow fort in the front yard while I organized the garage a bit. It was finally time to put the summer stuff in the attic! Several days ago we had some snow with sleet and then more snow. This made the snow in the front sidewalk hard, especially after the snow plows came by and pushed the wet snow on top of it. I took a scraping shovel and chopped out snow bricks for Sarah to build the walls of her fort. The fort is still in the early stages, but it is a work in progress. She had a blast either way! Then some neighborhood kids asked her to go sliding. After a little while, I even went on the sled with her once. Finally, it we headed inside to warm up.
I have to admit, glancing at the warm temp of 54 degrees in Orlando makes me a little jealous right now. We will have a white Christmas with even more snow on the way!

Oh, and funny thing, as I read your temp there, I really did get a chill and then had to laugh when I read your next line - you know me so well! Love and miss you all! T
