Good afternoon, y'all! We have been having some really great, fun and wonderful days in church, at home as well as out and about...
Bryan has been working for the past week and a half at a place only about five minutes away so that's been very nice for the gas budget and commute time. He is much less stressed so it's been fun. He took Sarah to the tennis courts by the front office so he could see how she would do hitting the ball around a bit. He said that she did pretty well for her first time. She has complained about being sore for a couple days now, so they must have worked hard.
Sarah's been reading up a storm this whole summer. She is reading the Narnia series, some more little house books and some of the American Girl collection that she missed. We love the library here in Naperville. We also pulled Sarah's bike out of storage so she could ride it. She got a new helmet with some of her birthday money and is so excited when she will have sidewalks to ride on straight off the driveway from our new place.
We are planning on starting school next week b/c Bryan will be gone most of the week. First to Pennsylvania for training, then to Montreal for two different jobs in Canada. We have been very blessed with Bryan's job this time around b/c he has really not been traveling half as much as he did when Sarah was a baby. We are truly thankful.
We took the dogs to the vet last week and Cocoa to the groomer today. He looks so cute and I'm sure feels a ton better with a lot less fur to get matted.
The weather here has been quite cool for this time of year which we are enjoying tremendously. We just pray that the winter isn't too cold this first year back.
We all pray that you and yours are having a super duper blessed day!
P.S. Happy Birthday to my dear sweet precious dad! I love you!
